Green Groups Settle With US Over Energy Corridor Plan
The U.S. government on Tuesday reached a settlement with several environmental groups resolving a suit over the use of 3.2 million acres of federal land as a Western energy corridor, as the government agreed to establish periodic reviews, conduct studies and enact new agency guidance for the area.

Judge Lets Industry Groups Join Energy Corridor Suit
A judge has allowed six companies, utilities and energy industry groups to intervene on behalf of the U.S. government in a California suit by environmental plaintiffs seeking reconsideration of the use of U.S. federal land for energy transmission projects.
