Power management company Eaton Corp. on Monday announced it has agreed to pay $500 million to settle an antitrust lawsuit brought against it by an affiliate of truck component maker Meritor Transmission Corp. that attracted widespread attention for its implications on loyalty discounts.

Meritor Gets No Damages In Eaton Antitrust Suit
A Delaware federal judge on Thursday awarded Meritor Transmission Corp. no damages in its successful antitrust suit against Eaton Corp., denying Meritor's bid to reconsider the exclusion of expert testimony that had valued the company's damages in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Eaton Can't Ditch Judgment Over Gear Monopoly
