Sony Can't Convince Judge L-3 Sensor Patent Is Invalid
A Delaware federal judge ruled Wednesday that an L-3 Communications Corp. patent for semiconductor image sensors that's being challenged by Sony Corp. is not invalid in light of a Xerox Corp. patent for a similar invention, with the court finding there was insufficient evidence that Xerox's innovation came first.
