Tremont's Owner Beats Madoff Investor Suit
A New York federal judge on Tuesday dismissed Oppenheimer Acquisition Co. from a suit brought by seven investors blaming its subsidiary Tremont Group Holdings Inc. — operator of the second-largest group of feeder funds in Bernard L. Madoff’s Ponzi scheme — for more than $116 million in losses.
