Fake Sewer Contractor Gets 17 Mos. For Ripping Off Chicago
A Chicago businessman who fraudulently registered a minority-owned business as a front to win $3.5 million in sewer service work was sentenced to 17 months in prison and ordered to pay $533,749 in restitution by an Illinois federal judge Wednesday.
