A California federal judge on Thursday dismissed a putative class action alleging LinkedIn Corp. illegally shared its users' personally identifiable browsing histories with third-party advertisers, ruling the lead plaintiff didn't sufficiently prove a serious invasion of privacy under state consumer protection laws.
