Samsung, Kyocera, Others Win Row Over Java Programming Patents
A California federal judge Thursday ruled that Samsung Electronics Co., Kyocera Communications Inc. and others did not infringe one of Nazomi Communications Inc.'s Java programming patents, saying Nazomi did not sufficiently show that the allegedly infringing system used in Samsung's cellphones operates in a similar manner to its patented system.
