Orrick, Others Best Claims Over Coudert's Retiree Benefits
Defunct law firm Coudert Brothers LLP's retired partners can't sue Baker & McKenzie LLP, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and Dechert LLP for retirement benefits, since claims against the firms that bought Coudert's business would belong to Coudert's bankruptcy estate, a federal judge ruled Thursday.
