A Nevada federal judge on Friday threw out copyright holding company Righthaven LLC's suit alleging copyright infringement by online news outfit NewsBlaze LLC, finding that Righthaven did not have legal standing to sue the site.

Despite recent litigation setbacks, Righthaven LLC launched an offensive against six websites Thursday in Nevada federal court, accusing them of copyright infringement for reprinting articles from the Las Vegas Review-Journal without permission.
