Superman Creator's Estate Gave Up Rights, DC Comics Says
Time Warner Inc.'s DC Comics on Thursday asked for summary judgment in a suit brought by the heirs of Superman co-creator Jerome Siegel, saying the Ninth Circuit had found that Siegel's estate representatives gave up the disputed Superman and Superboy copyrights as part of an earlier settlement.
