Banana Workers Sue Dole, Others Over DBCP Exposure
More than 200 foreign banana farm workers hit Dole Food Co. Inc., Dow Chemical Co. and others with seven lawsuits in Louisiana federal court over the past week, claiming the companies exposed them to a pesticide that causes cancer, sterility and other illnesses.
