A California federal judge on Monday trimmed L'Garde Inc.'s $2.7 million lawsuit against Raytheon Space & Airborne Systems over claims Raytheon breached a lucrative subcontract for the development of an advanced military airship, saying the subcontract didn't promise L'Garde would be retained to complete work on the entire project.

Space technology company L'Garde Inc. will be allowed to present to a jury its claims that defense contractor Raytheon Space & Airborne Systems owes it $2.7 million for breaching a multimillion contract related to the development of an advanced military airship when Raytheon jumped to a rival to complete the work, a California federal judge ruled Monday.
