Pfizer Inc. and Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. reached a settlement agreement Monday that wraps up a patent infringement case Pfizer brought over Aurobindo's efforts to horn in on the market for its blockbuster cholesterol drug Lipitor.

Pfizer Inc. struck Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. with a suit in Delaware on Monday seeking to block the generic-drug maker's version of Lipitor, continuing its ongoing battle to maintain exclusive rights to sell the cholesterol-lowering drug.
