Steve Madden Ponies Up $10M To Quash Text Spam Suit
Consumers who slapped Steve Madden Ltd. with a proposed class action for sending spam text messages asked a California federal judge to approve a $10 million settlement on Wednesday, putting to bed allegations the shoemaker violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
