Landowners, Anadarko Drilling Disputes Head To Trial
A Colorado federal judge on Thursday decided to let owners of surface rights who allege Anadarko Petroleum Corp. flouted agreements and allowed lessees to trespass on land they had rights in go to trial with their claims, while also dissolving the rights owners' class into individual cases.

Defying the recommendation of a magistrate judge, a Colorado federal judge on Thursday granted limited class certification to the owners of surface rights on tracts of land where they say Anadarko Petroleum Corp. flouted agreements and used inefficient drilling techniques.
