Kmart, Sears Sue Corps, Insurer For Katrina Damage
Kmart Corp. and Sears Roebuck & Co. sued the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, three New Orleans levee districts and the districts' insurer on Friday, seeking $14.5 million for damage suffered after Hurricane Katrina because of alleged negligence in designing and maintaining the levees.
