    SmartMetric To Take Mastercard Fee Dispute To Fed. Circ.

    SmartMetric Inc. said Thursday that it would appeal to the Federal Circuit a California judge's determination that he had jurisdiction to rule on MasterCard International Inc. and Visa Inc.'s request for $2.7 million in attorneys' fees after they beat SmartMetric $13 billion suit over a network technology patent, a request that was ultimately denied.
