Famed science fiction writer Harlan Ellison moved on Monday to call off his suit alleging copyright infringement by the makers of the recent sci-fi film "In Time," which Ellison had originally claimed was a ripoff of one of his short stories.

Famed science fiction writer Harlan Ellison is seeking to have all copies of writer and director Andrew Niccol's upcoming sci-fi thriller "In Time" destroyed, alleging in a copyright infringement suit filed Wednesday in California federal court that the film is a rip-off of one of his short stories.
