Judge OKs EMG's Mobile Internet Browsing Patent Suit
A Texas federal judge refused on Thursday to throw out a mobile Internet browsing patent suit against Avis Budget Group Inc., Aetna Inc. and three other companies, ruling that EMG Technology LLC sufficiently explained how an Internet navigation interface is simplified in its patent claims.

Ford, Allstate, Others Sued Over Web Navigation IP
EMG Technology LLC on Wednesday in Texas sued a diverse array of companies — including Ford Motor Co., SunTrust Banks Inc., RadioShack Corp. and Allstate Corp. — for allegedly infringing a patent related to displaying and navigating Internet content on mobile devices.
