A New York federal judge on Monday dismissed a shareholder lawsuit alleging Bank of America Corp. should have warned investors prior to American International Group Inc.'s $10.5 billion mortgage-backed securities fraud suit against the bank in August 2011.

Bank of America on Tuesday asked a New York federal judge to toss a shareholder lawsuit that claims it concealed an impending $10.5 billion American International Group Inc. fraud suit, saying it had provided numerous warnings of the potential for such litigation.
