Home Depot Seeks Sanctions Over Wood Treatment Class Row
Home Depot USA Inc. on Wednesday asked an Illinois judge to sanction a pair of law firms it says have frivolously rehashed a suit claiming it deceptively marketed a dangerous arsenic-based wood treatment, saying class allegations in five identical suits have been uniformly rejected.

Home Depot USA Inc. asked an Illinois federal judge on Wednesday to dismiss a putative class action over wood products that allegedly contaminated properties with arsenic, arguing the plaintiffs had not put forth plausible claims of a design defect or failure to warn that caused direct harm.
