Sprint, Others Pay $14M To End Calif. Landowners' Cable Suit
Four of the nation's largest telecommunications companies, including Sprint Communications Co. LP and Qwest Communications Co. LLC, on Wednesday agreed to pay $14.2 million to settle class claims that they installed fiber-optic telecommunications systems on private property in California without asking landowners' permission or offering compensation.
