Judge OKs $13.5M BNY, JPM Settlement In $15M Debt Suit
A federal judge in Philadelphia tentatively approved a $13.5 million settlement on Wednesday between Bank of New York Mellon Corp., JP Morgan Chase & Co. and investors who accused the banks of failing to go to bat for them when the hospital whose debt they had purchased went bankrupt.

Investors Say Banks Seek To Limit Stakes Shortly Before Trial
Bondholders in a bankrupt hospital who sued the Bank of New York Mellon Corp. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. for allegedly mishandling $36 million in debt asked a Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday to reject the banks' effort to narrow the scope of the case less than a month before it goes to trial.
