Citigroup Beats Back Retiree Stock-Drop Class Action
A New York federal judge tossed a class action Wednesday alleging that Citigroup Inc. wrongfully failed to cut retirees off from investing in doomed bank stock through 401(k) plans before the 2008 financial crisis, finding some of the claims time-barred and others without merit.
