Skechers Gets Toning Sneaker Suit Tossed As Time-Barred
A Kentucky federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a Louisiana woman's suit claiming Skechers USA Inc.'s Shape-ups toning shoes caused an injury to her leg, agreeing with the sneaker company that it was past the state's statute of limitations.

Skechers Can't Block State Shape-Ups Injury Suits
Skechers USA Inc. lost its bid Friday to stop more than 800 plaintiffs from filing their personal injury suits over its Shape-Up toner shoes in state court, after a Kentucky federal judge ruled the plaintiffs were entitled to choose their initial venue.

Skechers Wants State Shape-Ups Injury Suits Blocked
Skechers USA Inc., already involved in multidistrict litigation over its Shape-Ups toner shoes, urged a Kentucky federal judge on Friday to block numerous personal injury suits over the shoes that have been brought in various state courts, saying plaintiffs' attorneys are unfairly seeking to drive up legal costs on the shoe retailer.

Skechers Wins OK For $45M Settlement Over Toning Sneakers
Skechers USA Inc. on Monday won final approval for its $45 million settlement to resolve class action claims that the fitness footwear maker falsely advertised the calorie-busting and other health benefits of its toning shoes without demonstrating enough proof of any such benefits.
