Hitachi, Toshiba Deny CRT Price-Fixing Claims
Hitachi Ltd. and Toshiba Corp. told a California federal judge on Friday that they have not had the capacity to make cathode ray tubes since 2003, urging the court to dismiss claims in multidistrict litigation that the companies conspired to fix the price of the once-common components of TV and computer monitors.
