Circuit in their challenge to a revised U.S. Department of the Interior offshore oil revenue distribution rule that they say shortchanges them while benefiting nearby states, filing a notice of appeal targeting a district court decision that found the rule legal.

Louisiana Sues DOI Over Oil Revenue Rule Change
Louisiana filed suit in Washington on Monday challenging changes made by the U.S. Department of the Interior to offshore oil revenue distribution rules, which the state says could cost it $2.81 million in back fees and shrink its take of oil money in the future.
