LG Fridge Labeling Suit Tossed For Good By Judge
A New Jersey federal judge on Thursday again dismissed a proposed class action brought by consumers who sued LG Electronics USA Inc. for allegedly mislabeling "Energy Star" refrigerators, despite their having accepted compensation payments from the company, this time shutting down the dispute for good.

A New Jersey federal judge on Thursday tossed a proposed class action accusing LG Electronics USA Inc. of improperly marketing some refrigerators as "Energy Star" compliant, saying affected customers signed away their right to sue when they accepted payments from LG.
