Internet Marketer Settles Facebook 'Likejacking' Case
Internet marketer Adscend Media LLC on Monday settled for $100,000 a potentially $20 million lawsuit by the state of Washington over alleged "likejacking" schemes in which Facebook users were tricked into visiting sites that paid the company for referral traffic.

Facebook, Washington AG Target 'Clickjacking' Scheme
Facebook Inc. and Washington state on Thursday hit Adscend Media LLC with separate suits over the online advertising company's alleged "clickjacking" schemes, in which Facebook users were tricked into visiting sites that paid Adscend for referral traffic.
