Oil Co. Can Seek Coverage For Claims Over Workers' Deaths
An Oklahoma federal judge said Monday that a National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., policy must be interpreted as covering the types of claims faced by an oil drilling company over the deaths of two employees, finding the policy was ambiguous as to whether the underlying claims are covered.
