Charter Plane Co. Ch. 7 Trustee Gets $1M DOD Deal Approved
An Illinois federal bankruptcy judge signed off Wednesday on a $1 million U.S. Department of Defense settlement with the Chapter 7 trustee of defunct government air transport Ryan International Airlines Inc., closing out allegations that the company made "avoidable" Pentagon payments in the run-up to its bankruptcy.

Ryan International Gets OK For Ch. 7 Conversion
An Illinois federal judge on Thursday agreed to convert the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of the government air transport Ryan International Airlines Inc. into a Chapter 7 liquidation after the company failed to find a new investor and sold off its remaining its brand and stock to AJet Holdings LLC.

Ryan International's Sale to AJet Gets Judge's OK
An Illinois bankruptcy judge on Thursday approved a plan from bankrupt government contractor Ryan International Airlines Inc. to sell its brand and stock to AJet Holdings LLC after failing to find a buyer willing to take the airline as a going concern.
