Apotex To Pay AstraZeneca $98M For Prilosec IP Infringement
A New York federal judge on Tuesday ordered Apotex Corp. to pay $98.5 million to AstraZeneca AB for infringing two patents covering the latter's indigestion drug Prilosec, about three months after the Federal Circuit left intact most of a $76 million damages award.

AstraZeneca AB has successfully demonstrated that it is entitled to more than $76 million for Canada-based Apotex Corp. and Torpharm Inc.'s infringement of patents that protected the company's indigestion drug Prilosec, according to a New York federal judge's ruling unsealed Tuesday.
