A Maryland federal judge on Friday breathed new life into a real estate referral company's antitrust claims against a real estate listing service, ruling that additional details of an alleged scheme to prevent the referral company from doing business through sham copyright litigation overcame his previous dismissal of the claims.

A Maryland federal judge on Monday tossed a real estate referral service's antitrust claims in Metropolitan Regional Information Systems Inc.'s copyright infringement case against it, ruling the referral service did not plausibly allege that MRIS conspired to thwart competition through sham lawsuits.
