Travelers, Hartford Can't Duck Ariz. Contamination Claims
An Arizona judge on Monday denied a bid by Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co. and Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. to avoid covering Nucor Corp. in a $42 million suit brought by an Arizona subdivision over contaminated groundwater, saying evidence of a prior settlement is excluded from the suit.
