Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on Tuesday settled a pair of patent actions brought in Texas federal court and the U.S. International Trade Commission by patent-holding company Anu IP LLC, ending allegations that the tech giant infringed a patent covering retractable USB devices.

A patent-holding company launched a wide-ranging litigation blitz Tuesday, suing Toshiba America Inc., Samsung Electronics Co.
