Hain Celestial Urges Judge To Toss 'Organic' Class Action
The Hain Celestial Group Inc. urged a California federal judge Thursday to toss a putative class action claiming it tricked consumers into believing its Avalon Organics and Jason brand cosmetics were predominantly organic, arguing the word “organic” on their labels doesn't refer to products or ingredients.
