Kirkland & Ellis Among 16 Targeted In Prince Adversary Suits
The liquidating trustee for Prince Sports Inc. on Tuesday filed adversary proceedings against Kirkland & Ellis LLP and other creditors, seeking to reclaim a total of $2.7 million the bankrupt tennis brand paid out in the weeks leading up to its Chapter 11 filing.

Iconic tennis brand Prince Sports Inc. won approval of its Chapter 11 confirmation plan in Delaware bankruptcy court Friday, sealing a deal that will transfer control of the reorganized company to creditor Authentic Brands Group LLC for $65 million of secured debt.

Bankrupt Prince Sports Inc. agreed Wednesday to license its iconic brands to Battle Sports Science LLC in a deal that will return at least $15 million to the ailing tennis equipment supplier and keep it in the game for the upcoming season.
