Mylan Infringed Cumberland's Acetadote Patent, Judge Rules
An Illinois federal judge held Wednesday that Mylan Institutional LLC infringed on Tennessee drugmaker Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s patent for the overdose treatment drug Acetadote, holding that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's formula for Acetadote was not a "definite and permanent" idea.
