Class Decertified In Chicago Title Insurance Overcharge Suit
A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday decertified a class of homeowners alleging Chicago Title Insurance Co. systematically overcharged them for title insurance they obtained when refinancing their mortgages, saying members didn't have enough in common.

Chicago Title Says Homeowners Must Prove Co. Duped Them
An attorney for Chicago Title Insurance Co. told a Pennsylvania federal judge Monday that, in order for their case to survive, a class of homeowners alleging they were systematically overcharged by the company had to prove they had relied on fraudulent information when they agreed to pay inflated rates.
