SunTrust Bank has agreed to pay $300,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission over allegations that a Sarasota, Florida, branch manager subjected multiple female employees to routine sexual harassment, the EEOC said Tuesday.

A Florida federal judge on Monday denied the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's request to sanction SunTrust Banks Inc. for taping over surveillance footage that allegedly showed a branch manager harassing female employees, saying the bank had not acted in bad faith.
