A federal judge on Monday remanded to state court a California county's suit accusing Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Sanofi-Aventis US LLC of deceptively marketing their blockbuster blood thinner Plavix, saying the case relied exclusively on state law claims.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Sanofi-Aventis US LLC on Friday removed to federal court a California county's suit accusing the drugmakers of deceptively marketing their blockbuster blood thinner Plavix, causing government health care providers to overpay for the drug.
