Evanston Insurance Takes $140M Bratz Fee Fight To 9th Circ.
Evanston Insurance Co. said Tuesday that it is fighting the recent dismissal of its California suit seeking part of the $139.8 million in fees Mattel Inc. was ordered to pay in its Bratz dolls trade secrets litigation, aiming to revive claims a judge said were brought too late in the Ninth Circuit.

Following the lead of four other MGA Entertainment Inc. insurers, Evanston Insurance Co. has launched a suit in California to recover part of the $140 million in attorneys' fees and costs that MGA won in its Bratz trade secrets war with Mattel Inc.
