Evanston Insurance Co. said Tuesday that it is fighting the recent dismissal of its California suit seeking part of the $139.8 million in fees Mattel Inc. was ordered to pay in its Bratz dolls trade secrets litigation, aiming to revive claims a judge said were brought too late in the Ninth Circuit.
