Fridge Maker Claims Lack Of Injury Bars RV Fire Suit
Refrigerator manufacturer Norcold Inc. on Wednesday asked a Florida federal judge to toss an insurance suit over fire-prone fridges in recreational vehicles, arguing that the economic loss doctrine bars the claims because the fires caused no personal injury or damage to property other than the RVs.
