Burger King Settles Claims It Axed Christian Worker Over Skirt
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has reached a $25,000 settlement with a Texas Burger King franchise operator accused of illegally firing a female cashier for wearing a skirt to work as required by her Pentecostal Christian religion, according to a Wednesday federal court filing.
