BMS, Sanofi Can't Shake FCA Suit Over Plavix Marketing
An Illinois federal judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss a Sanofi SA employee's False Claims Act suit accusing several Sanofi units and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. of overstating the efficacy of blockbuster blood thinner Plavix, allegedly causing government health care programs to pay for fraudulent prescriptions of the drug.
