Telemarketer Pays $12M To Settle FTC Fraud Suit
Telemarketer ELH Consulting LLC agreed Wednesday to pay $11.9 million to settle Federal Trade Commission allegations that it pretended to offer reduced credit card interest rates and charged fees for the fake services, defrauding 30,000 consumers of at least $30 million.

Ariz. Robocaller Can't Escape FTC Fraud Suit
An Arizona federal judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss a fraud suit brought by the Federal Trade Commission against a robocalling company, ruling that the agency had sufficiently detailed the company's alleged violations of the FTC Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule.
