Insurers Resolve Salmonella Claims Against Tuna Importer
General Insurance Co. of America, Golden Eagle Insurance Corp. and food supplier Moon Marine USA Corp. asked a California federal judge on Tuesday to grant the voluntary dismissal of a suit claiming Moon Marine failed to disclose that its tuna was linked to a widespread salmonella outbreak.

General Insurance Co. of America failed to persuade a California federal judge that a salmonella outbreak faced by a seafood importer that it had insured was caused by a single occurrence that would limit its insurance coverage obligation to $1 million, according to an order unsealed Friday.
