Organix Shampoo Maker Settles False Labeling Suit For $7M
The maker of Organix hair and skin care products will spend $6.5 million to settle a class action accusing it of falsely labeling its products and misleading consumers into believing the products are organic, according to an agreement filed in California federal court Thursday.

Organix Shampoo Maker Says False Labeling Suit Lacks Legs
The maker of Organix shampoos urged a California federal judge Thursday to toss a false-labeling class action against it, arguing that the plaintiffs lacked standing to sue it for breaching warranty laws in Florida, New Jersey, Ohio and Texas because they hadn't purchased the shampoos in those states.
