A New Jersey federal judge Friday refused to dismiss a suit in which an Atlantic City strip club accused state transportation officials and an operator of highway rest stops of violating its rights by taking down its ads, saying summary judgment would be premature because the club hadn't gotten an opportunity to gather evidence.
An Atlantic City all-nude gentleman's club has brought suit in New Jersey federal court accusing HMS Host Toll Roads Inc. and state transportation officials of violating the First Amendment by removing its ads from the Atlantic City Expressway and the Garden State Parkway.
