Alcon Can't Escape Oversize Drug Bottle Class Action
An Illinois federal judge on Tuesday refused to throw out a proposed class action accusing eye care company Alcon Laboratories Inc. of forcing consumers to buy oversize bottles of prescription eye drops, finding that the plaintiff had adequately stated a claim under a state consumer fraud law.
